This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So any doubts that Fables would feel Amberish vanished in today's game where the party ended up in a mass battle with themselves.

So they went to rescue Jack. Did so, after a battle with a inugami and a slightly over awed mundy with a wand that "froze" Tom. Takashi the Oni killed the mundy kind of by mistake by hitting him very hard with his enormous spiked club.

with tom frozen the rest of the party left unable to free Jack from the chalk circle where he had been bound. However, Kuoy the kitsune did mind rape Jack and garner a load of information including the location of the last of Jack's magic beans.

So that being done the party returned to Snow white who ripped them a new one got Tom fixed kept the wand and the bean they had retrieved.
Snow decided that any princess could be sacrificed for the good of Fabletown so no way were the party on a quest for any Harps or whatnot.
The Japanese went to tell the leader of their delegation, Monkey Great Sage equal of heaven. Who told then that He was prepared to summon an army of monkeys to fight anyone coming the for princess so they had to go and rescue her from Snow's dungeons.

Blah blah blah...

So the session ended with takashi and tom having bashed the crap out of each other with help from Griswold the troll who chopped the oni up pretty bad. The whole of the Fabletown dungeons were transformed into an illusionary forest to help kitsune escape and the princess is back in the box. Snow is Pissed and threatening to shoot someone with her silver magical bulleted colt python.

Perfect diceless play :)

Just wanted to thank you.

I'd heard about fables before, but it's you that convinced me to check it out. And it is awesome. And I agree, it'd make a great Amber mod.

A little thread necro here, as I've just started watching Once Upon a Time and am loving the series. Now I'm pondering how to stat out all of the characters, using ADRP-like rules.

Any further updates on your Fables campaign?
