Mad Musings: Marvel Super Heroes
(1/1)
TheGlen:
One of the most successful licensed RPGs of all time known for its devout fan base and almost unheard of collaboration between TSR and Marvel.
WanderingGM:
I have a lot of fond memories of this game, and my friends and I played the hell out of it in our pre-teen and early teen years. When we got a little older, we eventually moved on to Champions, because its rules provided much more opportunity for min-maxing (yes, I was a teenage min-maxer.)
AnnA_Frank:
I also played it as a teenager, and I really liked it then, probably because there were few games and you idolized every game that fell into your hands
Grognard GM:
I love old school ('60's-2000) Marvel, and FASERIP is a neat game, but it has enough limitations and flaws that I'm never satisfied with it (it seems like curse of every Marvel RPG to be flawed).
Every so often I tease it apart, and attempt to craft a "better" rules system from it, because of the massive amount of vintage setting material. One day I'll crack it, you mark my words, Richards!

This is a curse of every superhero RPG. The genre is notoriously impossible to model. Everyone of them can be exploited and fall apart under extended play.
