This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Forward. . .to Adventure!

Huh? Dude, if you stunt and participate in melee, it only gives you a -6 penalty, and you don't use strength, dex and weapon damage.  That will usually mean that you will end up taking somewhere between 7-20 points of damage (assuming that before, you and he were tying every time).  If you're a High-level character, you can easily survive a hit like that, and if your stunt is good enough, you could end up taking down your opponent.

Also, if you're tied, eventually both fighters will see that stunting will be the way out of the fight.

The Fuck?
Why did nobody tell me of this rule?

I always assumed that if you stunt, you don´t participate in Melee AT ALL, just like with casting and ranged combat.

I´ll have to reconsider my opinion on stunts, it seems.

3d6-6 you say? Mmmm.

Have you not read the final version? That rule was introduced in the beta round of testing.

And its actually (3d6+melee bonus-6)
