If it keeps them away from Dark Sun, Mystara, and Birthright they can go ahead and devour the hell out of this setting as the locusts they resemble will.

Quote from: Ratman_tf on May 14, 2024, 09:27:43 PMYeah. I bought the RPG because I wanted to give it a fair shot. Read the whole thing, understand it and maybe playtest. I also bought the GM screen with the pack in adventure. Oh, and the Autobot dice set. I still plan to get the Decepticon dice. Dice are hard (not impossible) to fuck up.
I haven't bought a thing since. They came out with a Decepticon sourcebook and an adventure that I know of. Not interested.

Well they screwed up the dice. Check the D4 out, then contact customer service for a replacement of it. I eventually got mine. They messed up on all of the custom dice in the first run. All 6 Power Rangers dice sets, the G.I. Joe dice, and the Autobot Dice Set. I got hit on all of them.

Well, shit...

I hate playing a cleric.  I guess it is because of the way clerics in the real world treated us D&D players back in the '80's.

Now Paladins I really enjoy playing!

Quote from: BoxCrayonTales on May 14, 2024, 08:22:57 PMHow is that a bad thing? Numerous concepts now considered integral to the IP were introduced in reboots, like sparks, Primus, the primes, megatron's tragic backstory, etc.

How is it a bad thing? Well, what color is Rumble? :D
And what is his alternate mode?

Possibly.  Though I suppose she might be in the picture but has her hood up as well.  :)

edit:  Oops!  I should have scrolled down first before responding.  The joke has already been made!

Today we explore the wild splendor of Beastlands and its inhabitants while trying to figure out how to return the Great Modron March to its original route.

$10 says that the Bandit Kingdoms will be considered too "problematic" and get axed.

I think they should include "The Gygax 75 Challenge".

That's one of the better guides for creating a campaign world, in my opinion, and would be compatible with using Greyhawk as an example.

Quote from: Votan on May 13, 2024, 08:36:17 PMSo clever sculpting but if they wanted to highlight cool female characters, the Red Box has Aleena, who is both memorable and taught players important lessons about the way that the game was meant to be played. Sure, the character has a typical female presentation, but that isn't necessarily a bug in a game about heroic fantasies. Archetypes are good, right? Right? Or am I too old fashioned?

Some years back there was much bitching by the woke about how she was "Sexualized" and "pornographic" even. Because these idiots have no clue what those words even mean.

Then they are being silly. "You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means" seems like the appropriate response.

Here is a post with her picture. It's a human in full armor (no gaps, which was nice) and a belted tabard. Long hair, but so does the male fighter with her. Wasp waisted, I guess, but that is also due to a belted tabard. The chain mail is form fitting, but period mail isn't supposed to sag (it's metal). I guess there is a bit more neck in one of the images than is ideal, but what are we -- Victorians to be scandalized by a bit of ankle?

What an odd line of argument.
