This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

How about the other software was no longer going to be compatible with our server and this was the best option.

Adding new themes is unreliable with custom modifications. I can't just use something off the shelf, because they typically break very easily. That means I have to take the existing theme and redo the CSS for it. I can do it, but I don't have the time right now. I may attempt it at some future point.

Sorry. Dark theme is problematic.

I like High Fantasy, but never played it. Not sure how the system holds up.

I was going to mention a seventh game in Part 2 of the Forgotten Games series, but the timing didn't work out. This has been a personal favorite of mine for some time. I did not get it back in the day, but found it on eBay several years ago. I have secured the rights to Worlds Beyond (1989), so there will be a classic reprint of it in the near future.

I’ve actually tried contacting a few people involved in Wizards Realm to no avail. It’s pretty good for the era. Pretty sure there was mixed roles for writing and illustrating. Seems like Cheryl Duval was the lead on it.

It all depends on the printing process. Lightning Source is the worst for solids. Some services now use some sort of inkjet process. I’m not sure what it actually is, but the result looks like it came from an inkjet printer. Almost all books from LS use it now. It’s horrible. Streaking and under-saturation is a serious issue. That said, even the older books from LS had this issue, as did some earlier lulu prints. On the other hand, you can sometimes get a quality print from that sort of process. Amazon used to produce quality solids, but even they use this inkjet style system now (mixed with their old good system). It’s a crapshoot anymore.

Powers & Perils? Too mainstream?
I always want to like that, but it's so complex.

While Ysgarth is too complicated, there is something about it. Darkurthe is pretty good. Pretty sure I have MEGA, but don’t remember it. I have heard of but have never seen Bifrost (very rare).

If you can, it would be the remove link in the post header on the right. Otherwise, you can just edit it.

Panzerkraken, I have all of them. I will discuss Hahlmabrea in a future entry, but Journeyman is coming up in the sci-fi post (probably next week). Thanks.
