This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

It is funny though, how you became oh so concerned about American imperialism only when the coloreds showed up in record numbers to vote Il Douchebag out of office.

He might be suffering from dementia but god damn it Biden is still president.  Show some respect.
Elfdart's even dumber than he looks, considering Trump gained with every demographic except white males. Hell, he jumped twelve percentage points among Hispanic males.
h? Pfft.

The virtue signaling in that diatribe is hard to beat though

I've considered Uruguay and Belize recently.  I've backed off from Uruguay do to what seems to be the high cost of living.  I need to work for another decade at least.

Unfortunately not a surprise considering her wrongthink.  I made the mistake of seeing the first MarySue jedi movie.  The SJW garbage just makes it easier not to choose their brand.

Yea, Wallace is a real klass act... she sounds like a rabid dog when she talks about Trump.

Nothing new here.  The Wizards deserve all the shit that can be heaped on them for not showing a backbone and telling mutts like this guy to fuck right off.  If you don't like game, don't spend money on it and play something else.  Problem solved.

Assuming Youtube hasn't deleted it yet, watch the documentary 'Seattle is Dying'.
  Great documentary, very eye opening.

I finally bought my first gun back in July.  Before that, I haven't touched one since I was in the Boy Scouts back in the 90s.

It's a small 9mm handgun, Springfield Armory XDS2.  It's not fancy but I liked the way it felt in my hand.  A lot of the others I looked at felt too large.  Apparently I have small stubby fingers.

It took 2 months before I could get into a CCW class and almost that long before I could find ammo.  I've found a place online now that regularly gets ammo in at a reasonable, but still not cheap, price.  Locally, yeah, good luck.  Most places I've been will only sell you ammo if you are also buying the gun, and only a single box.

I've been to the range 2-3 times a month since I bought it and come to find out I'm not a bad shot.  Not going to win any marksmanship competitions, but my grouping is solid.

Last week I managed to sneak in an appointment with a county sheriff for my CCW license.  They've been booked all over out through April of 2021 but I guess someone cancelled and I snagged it.  Now it's just a 1-4 week wait for processing.

That's all good news.  I know ammo is super hard to find, and pricey when you can find it.  $ .80/round is not out of the question for 9mm, which is ridiculous.  I had to settle for steel jacketed last time I bought some.

Ammo will be their play.  They'll tax the hell out of it and try regulating its sale.  Its already in short supply, so prices are crazy high.

Oh, it looks like we can agree on some things after all. Carry on then. ;)

Well I am tired of how posters here causal talk about endangering peoples lives as if it's nothing.

Endangering how?  Not living their lives in fear, and ignoring bogus mask mandates?

Extremely tough to come by.  Crazy expensive if you can find what you need, even online.

Every day it's like a new win for my preferred candidate, Joseph R. Biden of Delaware! Congratulations again to him as President-elect and to Kamala Harris as Vice-President-elect!
Still neither President elect, nor Vice President elect no matter how many times you say it.

Are you accusing Emily Murphy, Trump-appointed head of the GSA, of violating the law, as she is providing funding to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris that is only authorized for the President elect and Vice President elect? The Presidential Transition Act defines the terms in federal law, and Emily Murphy has (belatedly) ascertained the apparently successful candidates who are therefore President elect and Vice President elect.

I didn't have to say it once for it to be true. It's true no matter how many times you deny it. It's true if nobody says it at all.
Don't be disingenuous.  Regardless of what the GSA has done, the President has neither conceded, nor have the electors voted yet.  Furthermore, the results are being challenged in several states.  Murphy has proceeded to release federal funds covering things like travel, training, and equipment until Inauguration Day, in case Biden is actually elected. It's no big deal.  It was done for both Bush and Gore in 2000 when that election was contested.

Any American should be absolutely terrified at the idea of systemic voting irregularities making their votes worthless

States systematically disenfranchising voters was why our elected representatives enacted and renewed the Voting Rights Act. Pity that activist judges decided to substitute their judgement on the matter.

Looks like Wisconsin will certify its vote tomorrow. As expected in a fair election, the hand recount resulted in only a small shift in votes, and not consistently favoring one candidate in the two counties that were requested to recount (remember, selective recounts were the most evil thing ever when Al Gore requested them in Florida in 2000).

Every day it's like a new win for my preferred candidate, Joseph R. Biden of Delaware! Congratulations again to him as President-elect and to Kamala Harris as Vice-President-elect!

Cute. NONE of that shows Biden promised to scrap NASA if elected.

It's a super simple thing. Find a QUOTE FROM BIDEN where he says the word PROMISE or something directly comparable to that word or a commitment along the lines of a promise, where he says he will SCRAP NASA or something directly comparable to that word.

Expressing a desire to change NASAs priorities is not a promise to scrap NASA. For example, Trump expressed a desire to change the priorities of the EPA if elected, and this was not him promising to scrap the EPA. An anti-Trump might lie and act like him wanting to change the priorities is the same as him wanting to scrap it, but that would be bullshit we'd all understood. Just like we all understand what you just tried to do was lie
Need help moving those goalposts around, Misty?

'Change priorities'. Wow, way to undersell 'we're pivoting away from actual space exploration and going to prop up diversity hiring and the climate change grift'.

But hey, it won't be scrapped. It'll be a pathetic shell of its former self, housing the usual woke bullshit, but it won't go away!

Agreed.  We can expect more of this bullshit started by Obama's former NASA chief Charlie Bolden:

Bolden said President Barack Obama had charged him with three things upon becoming NASA administrator.

"One, he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math and engineering," Bolden said.

Another drive-by shitpost from Nobody. Odds on whether he/she/ze actually comes back to post in their own thread?
Nope, just a dump and run

One other. I find it amusing and rather pathetic how Republicans virtue signal every time a non-white person votes GOP. "Look, we have black friends too!"
To the contrary, in my experience it's the progressives that constantly have to remind everyone that they have minority "friends".  The rest of us just have friends and don't need to tell the world because we don't give a shit about what others think.
