This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Jame Rowe;520779Hey Brendan, are there any slots open now?

(Says a dragonslaying Slayers playtester. )

Email me and we will discuss the pbp campaign.

Quote from: BedrockBrendan;520795I just sent you the latest file directly by email. When you log onto rpgnow is there a link to the updated download?

It appears so BB, they just hadn't advised me of an update to the file, which is unusual for them. I normally get update message for products. Thanks BB. Also, be advised that I will be undergoing my surgery on the 20th of March, so my posting might slow down even more that week.

I hope it is nothing too serious (the surgery). I will keep you in my thoughts on the 20th. Take your time getting better and post again when you feel up to it.

Hernia repair :( Not life-threatening though, so I'm sure I'll be fine.

Good luck. Glad it isn't anything too serious. Still, surgery is surgery so I imagine you aren't looking forward to it.

You are correct... it's a pain in the ass. Still, it could be worse. It's going to be out-patient, and I should be recovering quite well in less than a week. Hopefully anyway. Thanks for the well wishes :)

That is good. I think the biggest risk for something like that is infection (which is a risk with any surgery) so you should be fine as long as you follow you post op instructions.

Will do.
Here for the games, not for it being woke or not.

Just wanted to give everyone who is participating in the play by post Servants pf Gaius an invitation to join my actual live servants of Gaius game should you ever be in the Boston area (as far as I know none of you are all in different states and countries). Open invitation.

Wish I could bro :) That would be awesome! Unfortunately, Boston is WAY too north for my tastes. If I never see snow again it'll be too soon. As we all know though... life is like a box of chocolates.

I just want to let everyone know I am still very much into this game and am following the posting in the IC thread. I am just waiting for others to get the chance to do stuff since Quintus had pretty much taken action for a couple days so far.

If people dont object i can set it so the ship departs and everyone is aboard wednesday (this is my first time GMing a PbP so i want to makes sure everyone both gets a chance to take action but that things move comfortably for all). Share your preferences on the pacing and i will oblige.

By the way started a log of one of my live servants of gaius adventures in The design, develment and game play forum if anyone is interrested in checking it out.

Unless we want to make any more advanced plans, or you Brendan have any intriguing or encounters you wish to spring on us before our departure, I'm ok with advancing the timeline.
