This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Benoist;495717I will be on the game next week. I got to travel down South at this point. This is going to be a long drive.
You should hear from me and Lucius on Tuesday, if everything goes according to plan.

No problem Benoist. Have a safe and pleasant drive. I was going to have "morning" occur on Monday, but would you prefer I wait till tuesday?

Benoist

Don't wait. Just go ahead, Lucius following along, and I'll catch up when I can, 24-48 hours later.

Sounds good

Benoist

Hey guys. Just trying to get a sense of where we are now: are we going to meet together somewhere on this new day or .. what are you guys thinking of/want to do at this point?

That'll help me make a decision for Lucius (I assume he spent the night at his own home after the meeting).

Benoist, there was talk of meeting at Carus's in the afternoon/evening. I gave everyone directions to the warehouse/loft I call home.

(Gaia is here and we are waiting for others to show.)
Form the group wisely, make sure you share goals and means.
Set norms of table etiquette early on.
Encourage attentive participation and speed of play so the game will stay vibrant!
Allow that the group, milieu and system will from an organic symbiosis.
Most importantly, have fun exploring the possibilities!

Running: AD&D 2nd. ed.

Yes, the action seems to be occuring at Carus's place right now.

Just returned from holiday vacation, so will be more available for posting again. Quintus and Theo were on their way to Carus' place last post, so I'm assuming I have arrived unless we need to rp out knocking on the door and being let in and stuff. Of course the usual pleasantries and gift exchanging would have occurred on arrival.

No problem. I blieve that means everyone has made their way to Carus' house, unless I am mistaken.

I'm still at my in-laws and the holidays are crazy here. That's why I'm posting on the forums but not the games right now. Will do once I'm back home, in a few days from now.

No worries Benoist. It has been a crazy month for everyone I am sure. I expect things to move at a slow pace till after the holidays. By the way I just got the SOG cover and will send all of you guys a preview by email.

Nicephorus

Sorry, been checking the front page and I missed that the game had updated.

As I early thought that idea was to go to Carrus' and discuss plans, he and I had started in that direction previously.  So, I'm going to assume that Gaia got their first (of the guests) and now everyone has arrived so Gaia and Carrus will fill in what they've thought of so far.

Sigmund

I missed it to. I normally subscribe to threads so i get emails, but new threads throw me off. Might help if you could give us an ooc post in this thread about new ones and I'll get an email and know to set a new sub please :D

Edit: now that I'm taking a couple classes as well as working full time I get distracted even easier than before and might not think to check for new threads myself. Don't wanna keep folks waiting.

I'm getting that sense I'm forgetting something in the game. Who took the money that was proposed to us by Claudius? Is it Lucius or someone else?

I just tried to track this down, but cant find the post. A servant dropped off denarii during the night. I will do another pass through to see who received it, but you guys have both the funds and the letters (which i can repost if needed).

Benoist

Hm. I'm pretty sure this hasn't been described IC. I bet your instincts are right here.
