This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Okay I am looking to run a D20 Modern Terminator, that will start in the future and then potentially head back into the past through temporal displacement. What I'd like, realistically, is three to four players (But I'd welcome more obviously.) who could post two to three times a week.

Characters would start off as first level, but rapidly advance to fourth or so level-where advancement would level off a little.

Any takers?

I have to split for work in a hot minute, but I'll start getting background materials up shortly.

"Over two decades ago, a war began that never should have happened. A war that promised to unite all of all nations....in death."

On December 31st 2011 the world as we know it ends, as the entity known as Skynet achieves sentience. Having grown in secret, watching man kind debating whether it should reveal itself it came to a cold, hard and frightening decision: man kind was obsolete. Mankind's fate was decided in an instance: termination.

Having already infiltrated and taken control of the various national defense grids and nuclear arsenals Skynet shuts down everything and launches it's first strike. 3 billion people die in nuclear holocaust that leaves our world shattered, our nations left smoldering as mankind is finally united in a single goal: Survival.

The fires had hardly died down when the Hunter Killers came. Those foolish enough to believe the machines surrendered, and the lucky ones were interred in camps, forced to work for the machines until they could be orderly disposed of. The unlucky were shot, buried alive, or worse. Terminated.

Just as things looked to be completely hopeless one man rose up and showed us how to smash the machines. How to storm the wire and smash the metal bastards into Junk...John Connor.

You are the Resistance. You are fighting to keep humanity from the brink of extinction, but can you win?
