SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

This is what Rissthil Tanlithrin looks like when dressed for adventuring or battle.  He wears studded leather armor and carries a longsword, dagger, and a short bow.

Terrific guys. I'm going to make tokens out of those to begin with.

If you can share the names and references of the miniatures, as well as the manufacturer, please let me know. That'd be awesome. There's some Reaper and Rackham, as far as I can tell.

Form the group wisely, make sure you share goals and means.
Set norms of table etiquette early on.
Encourage attentive participation and speed of play so the game will stay vibrant!
Allow that the group, milieu and system will from an organic symbiosis.
Most importantly, have fun exploring the possibilities!

Running: AD&D 2nd. ed.

TheRPGSite allows you to attach images and several document formats on new posts, limited only by file size and certain dimensions.  When creating a new post, let your eyes go past the submit and preview post buttons and seek the "Manage Attachments" button.  That will open up a new window that will allow you to add images/documents; it also shows you the permitted formats and file sizes.  I usually prefer this option because it looks good and tidy at the end of the post.

If you find that too restrictive, the free image hosting site I use is photobucket.com

The bow is just for showing-off, and shooting the grappling hook. You can't be an elf without a bow, is against the rules. The unions would go after me if I dropped the fucking thing.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

Seems like it works - thats for the tip.

this is about what I imagine Smeads to look like.

Raised by his Human father, a drunken sailor, Smeads' inner elf rebelled at a young age and he ran away to find his Elven parent. Spending years on the streets he finally did locate his mother, a wizard of some skill. Years of training later he set out on his own to make his way in world, armed with the skills of the street and his new spell casting ones.

Cool stuff. I'm going to build tokens at some point using the pics you just posted. :)
