This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Bryce places one of the Aleuthias volumes in his backpack.  Looking at Alaric to see if he objects, he moves to take the volume On the Means of Divine Operation as well.

"What should we do about these heretical works, fellow scholar? Leave them here? Turn them over to the University?"

'Brother Marik' sounds familiar for some reason. Have we come across that name earlier?

"Brother Marik," as well as "Brumley" were names written in chalk on the base of the statue in the room you first entered through. Link

Stroking his chin thoughtfully, Bryce remarks: "It seems that the wholesome tomes belonged to the group that scrawled its names on the statue we encountered earlier.  The profane and heretical texts, on the other hand, look to have belonged to the monks of this blasphemous place."

"Eh, apologies for interupting scholarly process but night comes on soon! Are we to stay in this haunted place?" as I glance about the shadowed room...

Alric gathers up the rest of the tomes, saying, "I agree, we should withdraw for now, and I also agree we should turn over the heretical tomes to those that can dispose of them and prevent them from again being used to cause such damage." After stuffing the books into his pack, he slings it back over his shoulders and picks up his staff and lantern.

I had surgery recently and can't sit at the computer for very long. Please forgive me if I go for long stretches without logging on for the next couple weeks. Alric can be controlled by Pseudo if need be to move the game along.

Bryce, having taken his share of the books, prepares to leave the temple.

"Devin, my friend, are there any dangers outside?" inquires the sorcerer of his familiar.

Ah, the curse of the PBP game strikes again!

No worries, and thanks for the game as long as it lasted.
