Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Seeking player/writer for online game

ICONS - What will you become?

System: Heroes Fifth Edition

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic player to join our cast for this character driven (cross genre) game. It should be noted, that even though there are five threads (10 Players) in the game, that you will be writing with your primary cast member, for up to a year before there will be an opportunity to merge with the rest of the players. This is a very writing character intensive game.

Additional information on the game can be found here, http://www.nextgenrpg.com/content/icons .

The story to date on the supporting cast role of Danny, can be found here, http://www.nextgenrpg.com/content/nathanial-chapter-1 . (This opener is twisted...but, it's meant to be a very surreal catalyst for what happens next.)

The game is played over a collaborative fiction style of play at NextGen RPG. All players of a given game move, have access to the documents, and share the creation of the story with the GM. (It's a bit different that pbp or pbems, but very easy to pick up.)

If you are interested, please send an email to china.pittenger@gmail.com or send a PM at //www.nextgenrpg.com to Torchwood

There is no fee to GM or play at NextGen RPG.

GMs have to go through a bit of a talk before they can run a game.  Dedication to the game is very important, we're not a fan of stop and start games.  We want as much time spent considering their commitment to running a game as they give to what kind of game they want to run.

...but as long as their is a genuine interest and sincere commitment, then we do everything that we can to make sure that they can run a successful game.  We even help out with recruiting and such.

Player participation is completely left up to the GM, each GM has complete freedom on how they select their cast.  They tend to choose good writers with quality submissions, and enthusiasm and posting availability always helps.

There is a post apocalyptic fantasy game casting now, if you're interested in that genre.
