This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.
The message boards have been upgraded. Please log in to your existing account by clicking here. It will ask twice, so that it can properly update your password and login information. If it has trouble recognizing your password, click the 'Forgot your password?' link to reset it with a new password sent to your email address on file.

Welcome Inah.

RPGsite is mostly for Tabletop RPGs which are discussed in the top board.

Other games (which may call themselves RPGs) are in the second board down.

Game designers have a board under that.

The rest of the site is pretty self explanitory.

What games have you played in the past?

Fuck fora roleplays.
It's the lowest of the low, the scum on the bottom of the barrel.
Been there, done that.

Oh, and the "number of smilies vs. amount of text" ratio rule applies here, let's not forget that.

There is no reason to be a jackass about it PB.

Welcome to the site, Andromeda.  The focus of this site is table top RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons, not those played online.  If you have an interest in table top RPGs just ask a few questions or tell us about which games you play and you will find plenty of people who like to talk about them.  If these was not the kind of games you were looking for then good luck finding other sites that have what you like!

Nothing wrong with playing online, although we do use tabletop RPG's, some of us do play online from time to time.

This forum is pretty blunt, so don't pay too close attention to those that rude things, some of us try to be pretty civil.

What games do you like? If you don't play printed tabletop games now, would you like to be directed to any tabletop rules we use? What genres do you like?

Anyway, welcome to the site. I hope some of us can help you out.

I know my nephew and niece both do online forum RP, as does a new member of their game group.  I can ask them, as well as check around other places if that is your preference.

Not sure where to move this to, to be honest.

I'll move it to the play by post forum on the off-chance the OP is after that.
