This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

John swallows as he watches Sabrina sneak off, knowing that he's next.

The remaining three of you all make to the opposite end of the rock table, creeping along without drawing the attention of the fearsome foursome of giants.  As you look around the bend in the path you see it leads downhill a couple hundred yards towards a massive chasm.  There is a large stone bridge spanning the chasm and fields of boulders on both side of the path.  On the opposite side of the chasm you see a bird circling in the sky over the path.

James strolls jauntily along down the trail, pleased that his plan to evade the giants worked perfectly. He strolls down the hill, past the piles of boulders, and begins crossing the stone bridge without pause for thought.

Suspecting an ambush, Nick quickly approaches the boulders to try and ambush the ambushers that may or may not be there.

Just as James nears the bridge he's covered in darkness as an enormous shadow spreads over him.  A giantess who was sitting behind one of the boulders to the right of the path, stands up and places her foot squarely between James and the bridge.  She stands roughly 25 ft tall.

"What's this?  I was expecting more boorish suitors and instead it looks like I've got mice trying to sneak across my bridge!"

From his hiding place, Nick can see several giant sized spears and a very large sack bulging with unknown contents behind one of the boulders a short distance from where the giantess was sitting.

"*GULP*", is all James can manage as the huge foot blocks his path.

He attempts to dart forward between her legs.

If she becomes hositle (just grabbing him and holding him does not constitute  hostility) I will plunge my rapier into the back of her knee

"Y'know," John says to himself, making sure the shotgun is actually loaded, "I could have stayed in bed today..."

(BTW, what type of shotgun is this? Double-barrel, pump, automatic, that sort of thing. And what kind of ammunition do I have? Buckshot, birdshot, slugs, that sort of thing. Thanks!)

wulfgar

James hops on his skateboard and zips between the giant's legs.  (made acrobatics role).  She shoots James, who is now halfway across the bridge, an annoyed look, and then turns back to the rest of the party.  "Naughty mice.  Don't you know this bridge is a toll bridge?  Well.....what have you brought me?"  The she-giant is now standing squarely in front of the bridge, making any other attempts to get past her much more difficult.

(In game terms, John's shotgun has an ammo capacity of 2 and it takes an action to reload each round.  You have slugs.  Based on that, you can make it whatever type of shotgun you want.  A point of emphasis in the Lords of Creation rules is player creativity.  So for example, if you want to come up with something to offer the she-giant, it doesn't have to be explicitly listed on your character sheet.  If you think your character would have been carrying it around with them on the airplane, just let me know what you've come up with)

"Ha-ha!" James laughs loudly at the giantess as he shoots between her legs and away.

James stops half-way across the bridge, and turns back to see what is happening with Sabrina and her friends. "No toll for me!", he mocks the giantess, hoping to distract her attention.

Sabrina offers the giantess a Barbie doll dressed just like her. "Like, isn't this cool, I brought you a present.  She looks just like you!

wulfgar

"Yes...she's very pretty indeed.  Much nicer than any of the stupid garbage the male giants around here ever bring me."  says the Giantess as she carefully takes the doll from Sabrina with her giant fingers.  She steps aside and adds "you may scurry on your way now my little mice friends".

Nick escorts John and Sabrina across

As soon as the others pass the Giantess, James hurries across the remaining length of bridge, leaping off his skateboard when he reaches the other side. He then looks up again for Owen while waiting for the others.

"This is fun, hey?!", he says with an uncharacteristic grin when Sabrina, Nick, and John arrive.

Sabrina is trying to decide who she is more interested in. Nicholas is smart and hunky and on the football team, but John is sexy and rebellious and cool. So lost is she in her musings that she is not paying much attention to her little brother.
