Hello, I'm interested in trying my hand at running a play by post game of Lords of Creation.  If you're interested in playing please post in this thread.  If you have a copy of the rules, I'll give you the rolls for your character and you can do the rest.  If you don't have a copy of the rules, then we'll have to figure something else out.  

The game is set in the modern day and will start at Keystone State University in Pittsburgh, PA.  A few quick facts about Keystone State:

Ungrad Enrollment: 30,000
Graduate Enrollment: 12,000
56% female, 44% male
School Colors: Black and Yellow
Athletic Nickname: Rebels
Mascot: Tom the Tinker (a man in late 1700's garb with a musket.  The nickname and mascot both come from the Whiskey Rebellion which occured in western Pennsylvania in 1794.)

The PC's should all have some affiliation with the University.  You can be students, employees, or townies.

Welcome aboard Makofan!  Here's your stats:

Muscle 9 (+1 damage)
Speed 12 (+2 initiative)
Stamina 10 (heals 1 lifepoint/day)
Mental 9 (+1 power modification)
Luck 16 (7 Luck Roll)
$940 starting funds

So what does that mean?  well your 5 stats are all rolled with 2d10.  A score of 1-10 gives you a modifier of 1 and a score of 11-20 gives you a modifer of 2.  

Your personal force is a measure of your overall well- forcefullness I guess, and yours is equal to 6.  You've got to get it up to 11 to make 2nd level.

Your physical score is: 11.  This is your baseline chance to hit (11 or less on a D20)

You have 20 Life Points- unconscious at 0, Dead at -6 (negative your personal force)

Well, that's about it.  You've got 6 points to spend on skills and $940 of cash or stuff.  Just give me a little blurb about what your character is like and I'll pick out some appropriate skills and gear.

Sabrina Kluebottle is a bubbly blonde undergrad in her second year at Keystone State, majoring in Anthropology, Philosophy and Mythology. She is an unexceptional student, and may have had trouble getting accepted, if not for the fact that her father, Dr James Kluebottle, is the Dean of Literature at the university, but Sabrina has been lucky all through her life.  With her good looks, reasonable grace, and freshly enthusiastic personality, she earned a spot on the Rebels Football Cheerleading team.

Sabrina's main goals in life are to have fun, and to not embarass her dad too much.  She would like to travel the world when she graduates to see gorillas in Africa, the Mayan temples, the Acropolis in Athens, etc, and her family has the money to allow her to indulge this way.

Sabrina has a good grounding in classic literature and myth and archaeology(and romance novels).  Trained in ballet and gymnastics as a little princess, she still works hard on her fitness, and regularly jogs.  Since starting university she has joined the fencing club, and taken up kick-boxing. She realizes she has a knack for making good things happen to her, and has started to push her boundaries to try to explore this ability.

It's been forever since I've read the rules, and they're at a friend's place -- I'll have to get them back from him. So I might be a bit slow in getting these stats transformed into a character.

But at any rate, I'm here.

Hi Coffee.  If you'd rather just describe your character and have me fill out the sheet for you like I did for Makofan, that works too.

I'm a big fan of random rumor charts for rpgs, so I've written up one for this campaing.  Once you have a character, I'll private message you the rumors your character has heard.

I just bought a copy of LoC on ebay - should have it in a few weeks

Hmmmm, well there's nothing like the deafening roar of silence to dampen a would-be GM's spirits.  SO far it's just me, and Makofan.  If you're up for some rules-lite, crazy adventure-heavy rpg action, please feel free to speak up and join my campaign.
