This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

A location based heist adventure, transplanted to Vornheim
For 3-5 players
5th Ed, Level 3

So, I've been planning on running this as a one-shot for some friends, but I fancied putting it through its paces in 5e - anyone interested?

After finding yourself short on cash, you ask about for any jobs needing doing. Something else does come up in passing, though - Ogo, the local jeweller and antiquities dealer (or Boss Ogo The Fence, to the criminal element) seems to be missing. At least, he's shut up shop, and no-onea seen him in days...

There's bound to be something of value there, right? Uncut jewels, ancient treasures, gold, cash, drugs...

What the Hells are you waiting for?

A one-shot? Sounds like fun. Any race, class, optional restrictions? How are we all tied together? GM seeks to avoid logical contradictions, like LG Paladin of Breaking & Entering?

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it's more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

For races, I'd rather not run with Aarakocra - they're a pretty high-fantasy type race. Anything that's a little bit more dirty, down-to-earth is fine by me.

Most everything else is fine.

No restrictions on classes, but make sure they'd be fine with B&E - I can't imagine a Life Cleric or Paladin , but Thieves, Bards, Fighters and Warlocks are particularly appropriate.

As for how you know each other, we'll start with you together - let's assume you've worked together, slept in the same dives, drank together etc.

Tried cross-posting this in "Pen & Paper RPG Discussion" main forum? A one-shot of 3rd lvls should be an easy enough of a time investment.

I'm thinking of a Mt. Dwarf Locksmith Rogue who favors melee combat tricks myself.
