SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Justice Online is a relatively new on-going roleplay where players are welcome to create any type of character that fits into a superhero-type world; the brave, brooding stoic, the vampire hunter, the group of mystery-solving teens, or the valiant reporter. All kinds of original characters will be accepted. Players may have as many titles (on one account) as desired, and you can change/retire characters by simple request.

Each month players will post a story about their own character(s) within the context of their 'title,' creating their own continuity which will effect or be effected by the overarching story of the world. Their are no specific criteria for the length and format of RPs, but those who post more character/plot development will have a more direct influence over the world sooner. Also, players who show maturity and cooperation will be rewarded appropriately.

The overarching story will grow and change over time based on what player-characters are up to, so we're looking for plenty of original characters to help add to what we hope will become a deep, fascinating universe. [We are also considering adding a more interactive section for one-to-one and group roleplays which would also have some chance of influencing the story arc.]

Whether you want to post a complete story each month or a series of interesting segments of one, we welcome you to come by http://justiceonline.freeforums.net/ and create a unique new superhero title!
