This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

You mean survived.  The second roll was how many made it to adulthood.  So congrats you had only two kids, but they both survived.

As for names I was thinking...  You know what do you have a dark heresy book?  They have a list of names that would be far more helpful to you.  Namely ancient names would be what we consider to be modern names like Paul and Mary.  The common Warhammer 40K names would be like Zeinth, and Ethina.

What I am saying is for ancient names go with modern name.  For common name in this setting I go with bronze age meditterian names.  Ebo would have more African names, Macii would have Egyption names, and the Salts would follow more Babylon names.

OK, I used an online 40k name generator for the first name, and then picked a fun sounding Babylonian (Salts) last name. The latter means "Man of Marduk."

Barbabar Evil-Merodach.

Good? Could start his own metal band if researching goes sour.

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it's more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

Okay no one else had shown any interest and it had been thirteen days.  I say this was DBA (dead before arrival).  Thanks for making your character Opaopajr.

It's OK, I understand. However if you want to keep things going we can just run 1-on-1 play. It'd help you continue generating your world.
