This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Sigmund;555985Just so ya'all know. I will be going out of town for a touch over a week starting Thurs evening until a week from Sunday. I do not know how good my internet connection is going to be, we are going to Hatteras Island. If I can connect, I will post, but if not I might be out of touch for a bit. I fully authorize Drohem to control my character in the interest of keeping the game moving along if I do not make contact by Saturday night. Enjoying things immensely so far :) Dro, if you want me to send you any guidelines on Finn's personality and plans and such please just PM me and I'll fill ya in just in case :) What seems apparent to anyone who observes is that Finn seems very interested in Duncan and the Inheritor, but is hesitant to antagonize the soldiers (righly so IMO, considering his squishiness and the fact that at present he is alone :D )

Thanks for the update.  I had to look up Hatteras Island, and it looks like fun.  I hope it's for pleasure and not work. :)

Standard PHB for starting gold.  Rogues gets 2d6 x 10 gp.

Cool on the other part too. :)

Dulce's Starting Gold roll = 9 so he starts with 90 gp :)

Only noticed because I've played a couple of bards w/ kits myself over the years - its in the pretty fine print.

Well at least Finn has d6 hp :) That's a little creepy, though Duncan is probably going to be too distracted by everything else (controlling berserk rage?) to notice. Hope its a good trip, anyway.

I'm really enjoying the game too. Can see you're putting in a lot of work Drohem i.e. battle maps. Also, I'm amazed by how well 2E manages the feel of complete chaos in a battle.

Drohem

I should have a new post up later tonight or early tomorrow. :)

Heh... Finn is a scholar of the Red Curse and especially Legacies and how they manifest. It's your abilities he's most interested in... he's just not very competent in the social graces department :D

Hmm seems a bit quiet lately but I guess everyone has things to do...

Drohem

Yeah, I was waiting for Brenden and Sigmund to post their actions.  If they don't post by later today, then I will move forward with the game and another combat round post. :)

Jibba:  Please make your d20 attack roll.

I keep coming back to see if I have hit the bastard and nothing ... so I have to keep posting to a train wreck of a thread about Figther versus wizard balance....

New baby a bit of a handful I reckon :)

Ah well probably tis to be expected.

Off topic, I'm feeling slightly inspired by the idea of Legacies from here for my own system - i.e. advantages/disadvantages that cost or gain attribute points...have to post something in the Development subforum when its a bit more fleshed out.
