Layla cleans the wound and glances up at Phen and mouths "sword".   She finishes the job and says "if you are not sure who Zared is, I'm sure the Steward does"

As Layla turns to mouth something towards Phen the "Guard" Grabs his sword with one hand and Grabs Layla by the neck with the other... " I'll have to repay you might nicely now for patchin' me up Miss...but you two are too snoopy for your own good..when the boss finishes up inside you' two are gonna have to come with us...no funny stuff now"

"Allrighty" he says to Phen "Drop yer sword and no one gets hurt...!" His partner Puts his sword towards phen's neck "don't move" He says

At that moment Winston leaps into the mans face using sharp little teeth and claws to inflict a lot of damage before the man even knew what hit him.  Layla jerks away from him as Phen draws hid sword.

As winston scratches and bites at the mans face he let's go of Layla...and stumbles backwards...He tears winston off his face, and throws him at the ground...Winston scurries back towards Layla.. a little slower then his usual scamper, Layla see's a flash of pain in her mind

The Guard near Phen Swing's his sword at Phen but Phen is just quick enough to parry the blow with his sword...he swing's back but Phen's sword glances off the "Guard's Armor"

Layla see's the bloody face of the guard Winston bit rushing towards her with his sword raised high above his head

Layla ducks under the guards swing and rolls away coming up in a crouch knife in hand.  Without looking away from the guard she reaches down for Winston to scramble up her arm back to her shoulder.

Layla rolled two fast to land a successful hit, As she rolls past him the guard swings his sword down at the blur passing beneath his feet...but she's way too fast, and the Guard loses his grip on his sword as he watches the blur go by...and his sword now lays at the feet of the blur...

Layla snatches up his sword and as his momentum carries him forward arms outstretched she impales him through his previous injury.    She wrenches the blade free of the mans dead body and turns to assist Phen.

As Layla heads over to assist Phen she watches as Phen Misses a giant swing towards the guard, and the Guard then swings back...but his sword breaks on Phen's Armor...Phen swing's at the unarmed guard...but missed as the Guard now unarmed retreats towards Boris the Shorse and his cart....

The guard just narrowly misses Layla's sword...but it was because he was tripping...It's not to easy to run in armor...he's now laying on the ground defenseless...

" Please... Wait..."

He says as he looks up as his death stares at him...in the form of Layla...and her new sword

"The what?"  Confused, Layla asks Phen if he is familiar with th term.  She doesn't take her eyes off of the man or remove the sword from his neck.
