Phen picks ups the squeesel..

"It looks friendly enough, "

He pulls back it's mouth and looks at it's teeth and gums,

"Seems healthy, and obviously friendly if it's letting me do this to it"


The squeesel seems to like to be picked up and played with,

As a customer comes in ... the Door swing's open to the shop, and the Squeesel perk's it's ears and crawls up Phen's Shoulders, as if it's hiding behind his Neck

"Ohh, Ooh, ouch, claws are sharp on this thing...It's a little timid though"

He takes the Creature off his shoulders, and hands it to Layla

Layla looks away from Winston and replies,  "we will only be in town long enough to make a few deliveries and visit our father.  We will not be able to return.  If you are leaving soon as we will be, you are welcome to travel with us for as long as we go the same direction."

"Come on Phen.    I want to go get more acquainted with my new angel."  She turns her face into the soft warm little animal and rubs her cheek against his fur.   She likes him on her shoulder.  He sits up on her shoulder, holding on to her ear far balance as they walk out of the shop.

As you exit out of the building you see Boris the Shorse, all tied up at his post still and Phen Tends to him, It appears all your stuff is in order, There are enough Guards in a Large Metropolis like this that most parts of the city are well patrolled and don't have a lot of crime...Most parts.

Winston Seems to respond to the fresh air, smelling and whiskering as the rush of wind as it comes across him... he didn't like being cooped up in that shop

"Come meet Boris,  Winston." She mumurs to him. "He will be one of your new traveling companions."     She holds her hand out palm up so Winston can climb onto her hand.   She holds him out for Them to sniff each other.    Winston chitters at Boris softly then turns and scurries back up Layla's arm to her shoulder.   Layla reaches out and scratches between Boris's ears then climbs into the seat beside Phen.

"I think the step monster will like him, don't you?"  She looks up into Phens face with a wicked twinkle in her eye.
