Good: lots of Warriors...gonna need 'em I betcha!

Coffee

Okay, here goes. I've never created an Encounter Critical character before, so I hope I've done everything correctly. Also, I rolled him up in the German manner (that is to say, with a sausage and a beer), so I doubly hope nothing went awry...

Your first EC PC and you managed to resist rolling on the mutation table?  You're made from sterner stuff than I!

Looks good from here.  You may want to note the +5 you get to damage on successful sneak attacks (melee or ranged), just for convenience.

So far the party is
Buck Pulsar, Human Pioneer (Rondo)
Gorgo Ubar, Planetary Ape Psi Witch (Edsan)
The Creature, Mutant Primitive Frankenstein Warrior (Wulfgar)
TicTac Rerun, Mutant Cave Wooky Warrior (Max)
Zarko, Planetary Ape Criminal (Coffee)

Waiting on Stuart, possibly Doc Rotwang.  Either of you guys want to play a Warlock?  Or a Man-Doxy?
Running: Encounter Critical, online at God City Sandbox
Playing: 2e, Pathfinder
Blogging: Music, Games, Bad Poetry at  Malevolent & Benign

Blackleaf

Just checking in -- been away from my computer a lot this weekend.

I'd still like to play a RoboDroid (Pioneer) if I could.  Doc Rotwang would love to be the Warlock. :D

Coffee

I posted a picture of my character over on the Yahoo group. Look for the photo album labeled More Fan Art -- should be the only one there.

Here's a link

Things are looking good.  Thanks for the occasional run-down of the party's current line-up there, Max...making this a lot easier to figure out.  I never care for money when I start out a character, which is a good thing.  Compared to most of you guys, I didn't roll crap or somethin'!  I'm running around with 5 G.C.s left, and all I ever bought in the first place was a cheap uniform and a stinkin' pistol! ha...!  Pretty sad; gettin' showed up by the cave wooky when it comes to buyin' drinks....pathetic....

Just in case it's easier than jumpin' over to my blog, and, since the rest of you have posted here, here is my character (an image of Buck can be found on my blog):

Background:
Buck is your typical vain Flash Gordon kind of guy. He comes from a distant planet that's much like 1930's earth, where he was a pretty good athlete and a bit of a rich boy. His father sent him to a prestigious private school where he studied astronomy and the new experiments in space travel. A series of strange expeditions led to his becoming stranded in Vanth. He sports the uniform from when he enlisted in the "Galaxy Patrol" back on his planet.

Blackleaf

Okay, here's the Heromachine pic for my character.

He's a Robodroid Cowboy.

Heromachine didn't have a lot of options for Robots, so I might see if I can draw something a bit better myself.

Edsan

Triple shite on a stick!

Well in case you have not heard my PC has given up the ghost, gone to meet its maker, is pushing up daises...in a word, passed on.

Check by last blog post where I try to ellucidate people about the situation. I don't know how long it will take to fix, if I can afford the repair on the 1st place and then how long till I get the net working in the new flat I'm living in. We where trying to solve the internet connection problem when the whole thing went into "permanent shutdown mode".

This means the brave gang will have to start without Gorgo, unless the esteemed Journey Master wishes to run him as a retainer of sorts until the tech-priests at the local store manage to ressurect the machine-spirit that allows me to connect to the Interne and have a damn social life in the first place!

If I sound pissed it's because I am...quite! God, sometimes I hate my life; everytime I solve a problem another one comes along. My mother is a slightly religious person and she's been saying for years that our family is cursed. I don't believe any of that bull but the propension me and my family members have for having bad incidentes happen at the worst possible time does make me wonder.

Case in point? There was a PC repair shop, that does diagnosis and calculates repair costs for free, less than 5 minutes away from the place I was living before. My new apartement is miles away from anything even resembling a PC store and the fucking machine died on me about 10 minutes after I had set it up there. (rimshot! ta-dum-tsk!)

Enough moaning! I'm off. Have fun amigos!

Bum deal man, but we can ALL relate to "the curse"!  Well, speaking for myself anyhow.  Soon as your up and running, jump on in here...getting screwed is my middle name as well...i think it's just life these days...I've come so close to getting a "born to lose" tattoo when I'm getting worked on...a jillion times it's crossed my mind..get 'er fixed and get in here...we need ya!

Timbo

Sorry to be away so long things been busy. Im sorry we lost Edsan..good luck with the computer, if you feel inclined later and the games still going you are more then welcome to be inserted into the mix later.

So unless my eyeballs deceive we are awaiting Dr Rotwang? Im going to try to hand copy these to a more traditional "official" character sheet so all the skills and such are easier for me to see.

I'll check back tomorrow!

Timbo

Ok yea- I touched on this with the previous grouping, but I'll through it out for everyones benefit.... what is everyones opinion about dice rolling? The choices are a) honor system with you all rolling or b) I the JM make the rolls so you can each concentrate on dynamic action. The third option of using an online roller is a bit unwieldy I think.

The online dice rollers sound interesting -- 'cause I've never used them before. ;)

I'm easy going about how you want to handle the rolls though.

wulfgar

I'm fine with honor system or JM handling all the rolls.  I agree that servers are unwieldy (and clog up your inbox from my experience).
