Am I rushing you guys? :o

I thought 48 hours would keep the momentum, but this is a trying rpg medium and these are trying times. :) Let me know if you want a more leisurely pace, and what sort of pace that would be. (Maybe 72 hrs {3 days}, 96 hrs {4 days} feels more organic?)

Let another 48 hours pass to chat, bond, and decide where to go next. By this coming Wednesday, Aug 5th, I will go with the adventure that attracted the most IC interest.

(Meanwhile I will interact and flesh out play with those who post. :D Come in the water and swim, we only sometimes maybe bite!)

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

Hey can I join on this dance floor?  Been looking at the Dhuna Witchwoman cause I figured you need more spell casters despite me being absolutely new to the game.

Opaopajr

Do you want some ack-shone? :D Wanna give it, wanna get some, too?

Sure!

Be quick about the PC and you can be a random ally of circumstance in the upcoming battle! They are about to have the equivalent of a backwater desert airport luggage hangar burst into free-for-all melee. You too can be a victim to shenanigans if you hurry! :p

Posting this so you can check to see if I got this right.

Astlumia Ajmo

DHUNA WITCHWOMAN
SIZE: 5'8", 120 lbs.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Olive skin with long flowing raven black hair with a body so explosive that each of her steps is a nuclear blast.  The only flaw to her exterior is her scar across her face that she earned in battle.  Still she rocks it with her white wolf furs and black stone jewelry.
PERSONA: Cool and mysterious is her way.  Well till bring up the day that zealous knights and witch hunters of Aamon cross over Zandu borders only to waste her family.  Not powerful enough to get revenge she keeps that hot lava anger under a frozen exterior.  Booze and sex also helps.
ATTRIBUTES: DEX +1, INT +2, WIL +1, CHA +5
MAGIC RATING: +2
HIT POINTS: 14
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Kissing men can steal their hearts (roll vs Will Rating).
SKILLS: Secondary magic, combat training, concoct elixiers, healer, herb lore, tracking, snares, seduce, inscribe spells, barter, riding, literacy, concoct medicinal mixtures
LANGUAGES: Elder Tongue, Nomadic, High Talisian, Talisian, Archaen
EQUIPMENT/POSSESSIONS: cloak, frock, boots, scroll (holds spells), staff, pouch (holds up to four elixers), greymane steed
WEALTH: 100 worth of herbs and medicines

COMMENTS: A run away witch who lost everything at her homeland and is now seeking a new life.

I approve! :D Go ahead and post it in the IC Topic -- and then another post about your declared action! -- then we shall continue on!

I will add in the IC thread that your casual witness of the Zaran chattel woman casting a hex (jinx) freeing her people caught your attention. The people around her are causing chaos, almost as if to save her from a chattel life? But you have no idea their relationship -- especially since Zarans are likely to kill you as much as look at you when in these Wilderlands.

By the way, do you have any luggage to pick up at this hangar? :p

Oh SHARK, we can still keep your Mangonel lizard basking in the cargo net of the saltflat catamaran racer! It just cuts out on your ship's tonnage. Also she might attract a Mangonel stallion as they along with land lizards do roam The Barrens. But we'll cross that fun when we get to it! :D

Probably one luggage for clothes and the other for taking care of the Greymane Steed.

Greetings!

Yes, my Mangonel Lizard should be happy waiting in the Catamaran sand ship. I always make sure she can reach some water and food. She can also protect the sand ship from any intruders!

Where is the nearest exit?  How pretty are those luggage dancers and how much weight they can carry?  Thinking of attaining a freebie hireling if able.

Exits: a good 50 to 70+ yds for most of the easiest ones. This is closer to our modern airport hangar with stone pillars, hence why Akmir is considered a weird and poor fortification. (Talislanta literally has a 10+ lane mega suspension bridge crossing the Dear River by Danuvia... think post-apocalyptic fantasy.)

Dancers: Most of them are like Solid Gold Dancers, a mix of sexes, generally beautiful, quite a bit of costuming and make-up heavy lifting, and athletically healthy. They are usually on revoloving debt slavery contracts and fancy little prospects else than "being discovered!" due to their squishiness out in the dangerous, uncivil world. ;) Help yourself to one and someone's random luggage, no one sems to be resisting!

Spells: Depends on whether Primary, Secondary, or Magic Apprentic. I believe you are two learned spells, which is up to two memorized as well, and fixed upon selection until lvl up... But brb, I will read the relevant chaptwr again. :) Talislanta 2e PHB.

Where is the dice room?

EDIT: If there is no dice room than I just used wizard dice.  Which the spell roll is 19.

Roll(1d20)+1:
18,+1
Total:19

There is no resistance to beguile, but the suggestion has to be reasonable.  Which given that these dancers are in danger and most likely want to get out it seems pretty reasonable.  I just needed to give one a boost of encouragement.

Good question! How are we rolling dice? I just tossed a D20 and added to modifier.

Should we have Opaopajr roll everything for us in the future?

I prefer rolling my dice, but beyond that I agree.

Now I am wondering if my level one witch can do level two spells as I can use Metamorphosis to transform into werebeast form.  That way I want a combat form.
