This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Okay I tried to download that - but each time I do - my browser blocks it as a security risk. Should I override my computer and tell it to loow ?

Yes, it's just a program. Try right-clicking and 'save-as'. Alternately, if you can get a character made or ask someone at your gamestore to put one together for you and email you a copy of the summary OR just fake the format used (see above for examples), that's fine too.
Download Secret Santicore! (10MB). I painted the cover :)

I did, there's no problems with it.

I will add the 4 damage, but a slight correction! The Bell Ringer only does damage equal to your con modifier. It's main effect is to leave an opponent dazed (which gives everyone combat advantage, you are now Ridcully's best friend).

:o
hehehe.... See what happens when you try to think before coffee?  :)

Well, I was trying to put the skeleton down with a powerful hit, but giving Ridcully the set up is just a fine as I'm sure if he connects he'll probably take the skeleton down, or put it on its last legs (ooh!  unintentional pun!).

I am actually picking up a 4e PHB tonight, and I could join maybe by tomorrow, if you are allowing more players.  I have  never played 4e, so am I not sure what I would be diving into.  Also, you may want to ask the other players if I would be welcome.  I do see you are in need of a cleric.

You game is set at a pretty fast pace.  I see the guys posting up to 3 or 4 times daily.  Is that what you expect?  What about weekends?

hell yes, you're welcome Venosha! :D

We certainly could use a cleric. ;)

Just download the DDI Character Builder.  All the class features, powers, equipment, etc. is explained in the program itself so you don't have to reference anything.

Definitely welcome! please join!

If the pace becomes too fast I can slow it down. I do plan on spending all this weekend with my girlfriend, and running my for-reals campaign on Sunday, BUT don't let it bother you. I am still trying to figure out the best way to do 4E via PBP.

This is meant to be a very combat and dungeony and XP-driven campaign. Feel free to improvise background details. The character builder is free by the way: http://www.wizards.com/download.asp?filename=700_DDI_CB.exe

Okay...I will get on the character build tonight and get something up ASAP.  I need to get away from work to have some peace and quite.  I think my time frame is 2 hours behind you AM, I am on Mountain Standard Time.  Once I'm finished I'll post it here, then you let me know when I can jump into the other thread.

Thanks

hehehe.... I'm such a noob sometimes.  It wasn't DDI's error in calculating my sheet; it was an user error on my part.  I was originally going to make a Great Weapon Fighter build, but then switch to Tempest and I never changed the build option to Tempest in the program.

I updated the character sheet with my own version.

Hopefully I was clear, there is a quest here to defeat the 12 animated dwarf skeletons and return them to their burial ground.

Yeah, it was clear to me.:)  Sorry if I wasn't clear in the post, but that is what Fargrim is all about first! ;)

Copy that.  I figured we had more to clear out since there is movement in the farmhouse.

Drohem:  should we position ourselves around the house till AM gets back to furthering the quest?
