This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[ooc] looks like the ooc and gm tags don't work on this site... gonna continue to use them though, if only to parse out what's what [/ooc]

[gm] skill challenge wasn't a win, but I'm gonna skip the random patrol to once again get some traction on this... [/gm]

Somehow you manage to follow the trail laid out on the map given to you by Stump. Unfortunately, due to some missed turns and switchbacks, it took much longer than expected. Falk's foray into tree hugging/climbing was fortunate however, in that he was able to spot what looks like a large clearing in the distance. It looks as though the majority of the camp is surrounded by a wooden fence.... it even sounds like there's work being done on it, or else some general carpentry is being done. Beyond the fence, you can see the various colored tents in mixed condition just past the wall and a central courtyard covered in granite stones and pebbles. Benches encircle the courtyard and a giant symbol of some sort rests at its center. There is no sign of anything that resembles a magic portal or even an altar. It's difficult to judge how many of the "Faithful" are in the camp from this distance, but at any one time, Falk spots from 5 to 15 people.

[ooc] You've arrived in very late afternoon; the sun will set in about 3 hours. What would you like to do? [/ooc]

[OOC]Falk would never be so ambiguous in numbers.  There is clearly an average of 10.45 ± 2 people in the camp.  Clearly.  Either way, now thankfully clear-headed after all the ale, his tactical side can reign supreme.[OOC]

Well, gents, I think we should wait until sundown.  We may be better off getting in and out quickly and undetected than trying to all go in at once now.  We can go to one side  where the moonlight is dim, Carsys and I can give us an opening, we go in, grab the whats-his-name, get out, get our money, and drink.  So I can get out of these ^&%*ing bugs.
