This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Thank's so much Zach!!! It made the pain of missing Gen Con a bit easier.

It also made me reaffirm that I will definitely be there in 2010.

Just wanted to thank you for all the coverage.

It beats the hell out of Twitter. Also makes me pine to be able to go back to GenCon someday.

Quote from: Captain Rufus;321344Im kind of anti Gencon due to how it seems to be treated as the center of the hobby games universe and all, but your liveblog was cool dude.

Dude, I think its kind of stupid to be Anti-Gencon just because Gencon is the center of the gaming universe; its like being Anti-Sun because the sun is the center of the solar system. What the fuck? It doesn't mean other celestial bodies are cool too, you know, its just a statement of fact.

Thanks for stopping by the Mind Storm Labs booth.

From our perspective it was a fantastic show.  We sold out of the Alpha Omega core rulebook and our creature manual, "The Encountered: Volume 1".  People even bought our demo copies!

On the gaming side we also sold out all of our gaming events, which means we had hundreds of people playing Alpha Omega at Gen Con this year!

See you next year at Gen Con 2010!

Taking somebody to task for saying something stumpfuckingly stupid on the internet is, in itself, stumpfuckingly stupid, and hence results in a critical mass of stumpfuckingosity -- leading one into a never-ending spiral of madness, cold sweats and a total lack of available free time.

Thanks for the thread Zach.
I would love to get to Gencon one day, not quite a drive away from us in the UK though.

kregmosier

also have to throw in my "Thanks", Zach.  It's not like being there, but it's pretty damn close. ;)   I sure appreciate the time you put into it.
