Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Many people are very interested in these mythical 'two beers'. Law enforcement, for example:

:D

LOL LEOs have nothing on me, at least until such a time that drinking and using the internet is illegal.

Here is why this forum tends to be so stupid. Many people here think Joe Biden is "The Left", when he is actually Far Right and every US republican is just an idiot.

Belgium has plenty of beers, where 2 will put you 'mildly' over the limit.
I'll try to photograph some in front of my dice bag tomorrow, to keep this gaming related  ;D

Mexican beers are not that strong, about one glass of wine. I've tried some Belgium beers tho, good stuff! I wouldn't drink them and play RPGs tho, my spoken english is already terrible don't need any help from alcohol to not be understood.

I celebrated my 50th birthday in a moshpit.
"Old" is a state of mind.

And I love Mexican beers on tap. Corona on tap in a frosted glass kicks ass.

As long as none of your Traveller players died while creating their character you're still ok...
Only old players mention that. See 1977 rules.

I know Im getting old when I've been through now THREE different waves of the SJW/Woke/Femnazi movement and am probably going to see a third one in less than 10 years.

When you looked forward to the release of the AD&D 1e DMG.

Vividly remember waiting for its release.

I know I'm getting old when I remember when "Bunnies & Burrows" was a thing and people knew what "Watership Downs" was.

**
"Watership Downs" was the "Harry Potter" of that time.

Never played it, but remember seeing it on the shelf at the game store.

I remember when "Bunnies and Burrows" was still independently published and not a GURPS supplement (I still have the original, with a pale blue cover, somewhere in some upper shelf).
For every idiot who denounces Ayn Rand as "intellectualism" there is an excellent DM who creates a "Bioshock" adventure.

Yes, that's the one.

You know you're getting old when instead of looking in the mirror and being a young bitter person who is yelling at how dumb the kids are, your face now begins to resemble the old man you've always been yelling at how dumb the kids still are, except now they're younger and dumber.

You know you're getting old when you remember when "Judges Guild" made the stuff everyone wanted copies of.

You know you're becoming an old gamer when...
you remember when Waldenbooks and B Daltons were your FLGS.
you remember when the DM was the most respected person at the table, not the most shit on.
you remember going to the library to read their copies of Dragon magazine.
you remember when people were able to figure out how to play games without needing a half dozen videos.
you remember not knowing the politics or opinions of anyone who wrote your favorite games. Hell not even knowing their names most of the time. I was 10+ years into the hobby before I knew who Gygax was.
Klytus, I'm bored. What plaything can you offer me today?

An obscure body in the S-K System, Your Majesty. The inhabitants refer to it as the planet... "Earth".

markmohrfield

you can remember when D&D, RuneQuest, and Traveller were the Big Three rpgs.

... and you can remember the ANGST when Vampire: The Masquerade was released.

Twilight was all the rage at the time if I recall.
