Actually the real new World of Darkness stuff coming out of the new White Wolf is likely to be a growing discussion point over the coming year, I reckon.

But the old 'New' World of Darkness stuff is officially called Chronicles of Darkness now. 'Classic' World of Darkness remains as it always will be of course.

Yah, I remember when I didn't have a girlfriend

If you want something that plays similar to Towers of Doom and Shadow over Mystara there is the arcade game Dungeon Magic. Much simpler interface. But has that exploration feel to it.

Another from Capcom is Knights of the Round. No branching paths. But a pretty fun battler with good graphics.

Theres a few others like that out there.

Yesterday, today and forevermore?

Quote from: Omega;871935Didnt know they did one for the Dreamcast? I had the Famicon/SNES one. Grey Witch I think, based off the prequel manga I think. Been a while.

The Dreamcast one was after the defeat of the Empire.  And you played an unnamed (but VERY important) NPC that died in the original series.

Quote from: Omega;871935Friend had I believe the Berserk game for the Dreamcast. Picked up where the series left off it seemed.

Had that too.  It has Quick Time Events that actually are better than a lot of the more modern ones.  They don't instantly kill you if you fail them.

Yes, that vague economics-based decision to more visibly split two related properties given that they will be produced by different companies will have a huge impact on someone setting up a player's club. A name change is clearly more significant than the many game systems that are actively played with no official support from the creating company.

A name goes a long way, which is why companies spend so much on IPs. It is ironic that New WoD, as was, is being projected here as an OSR!

Yes, we've established your far too busy with your gamebooks and rpg pedanticism for a real-world relationship. That's not in dispute.

Apparently the only dispute is whether you get to have me. No means no, sorry.

Its interesting that your mind leaps so ridiculously to the idea of a homosexual encounter. Methinks the lad doth protest too much.

You are the person that first leapt into this bizarre exchange, apropos of nothing, and still want to continue it apparently. You're the first one to state your thoughts of a homosexual exchange, incidentally too - whatever that says about your own mindset.

The answer is still no, I'm afraid.

Wow, aren't you in denial, to the point you don't even realize it was you who brought it up when its boldly in evident just one page before. *shakes head* Quick! Back to your pedantic killjoying about vampire rpgs, where you'll be safe from your homoerotic urges....

Luca

I'm pretty sure the whole board is extremely interested in the final outcome of your mutual advances but could we just go back to the topic at hand please, and leave the foreplay for more appropriate forum sections.

I didn't killjoy about any Vampire game - just pointed out that the IP of 'nWoD' doesn't exist anymore. You are the one that leapt in with an utterly unnecessary personal attack - and still want to continue it evidentally. And you are still the one who has yet to get to grips with your own unresolved emotional feelings about myself....bless....but the answer is still no.
