This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I still think it's amazing dumb to ask for a 500 dollar investment from people while giving them no information on what is actually going on.  The fact that there is still no announcement makes it look even more shady.

My guess is that a lot of the player base has been burned enough and will be setting back and waiting this one out to see what happens.

I'm not sure about subscription plans for other publishers, but just so you're aware -- we'll sell the RPG into the trades and on our website when it's ready. While it will be available for pre-order, you'll know what you're getting.

In the past, other publishers have offered these sorts of subscription deals to raise money. I've heard rumors that Wizards is still honoring deals that TSR made long ago for extremely lucky D&D fans!
