I don't think I've offered you a congrats on this.  Seriously, no snark.  AoI looks really interesting, and I liked your older Roguelike game a lot.
For fuck\'s sake, these are games, people.

...and the hardcopy print version finally arrived in the mail just this Friday from Studio 2 Publishing.

Have only had time to do a quick lookthru up until now. Time to order those Medieval India minis.

First Impressions... A+ old school campaign set in ancient India.

Really like that the Monster Guide and pre-built encounter tables included.

The new character classes are a great addition!

The Random Monster Tables and the Patala Underworld Generation add just the right flavor to help make exotic adventures.

Robs maps are frigging awesome, of course! Any chance we'll see the release of a 22"x17" full color version map of Gharata?

The character name tables look like a mix of Hindi and Bengal? Is that intended?

There's a blank character sheet on pp.183, I'd rather not tear it out to make photocopies, Is there a PDF downloadable version of this character sheet available online somewhere?

Just what I was looking for for an Eastern based old school style campaign, something that's been missing from the lineup of available campaign settings up until now. I'll post up a full review after I've gathered a couple groups and run an adventure or two for them. Looks really good though.

GameDaddys' First Houserule for AOI:

War Horses, Chariot Horses, and War Elephants that take more than 50% HP damage must make a morale check every round they remain in combat, if they fail the morale check, roll 1d6;

1-2: Mounts bolt in a random direction, and will continue stampeding overrunning friend and foe alike until they are completely out of the Battle area.

3-4: Mounts are routed, and will reverse course, fleeing the battle area by returning to the original place where they entered the battle. Friendly troops will need to dodge or clear a path for the routed animals or otherwise be trampled/overrun. handler may attempt to regain control of the panicked mounts, however this will take 1d6 combat rounds, and the Mounts must make a successful morale check for the handler to calm them enough to regain control.

5-6: Mounts go Beserk with fury, will automatically charge foe doing the most damage and attempt to trample/overrun them. +4 to Hit, -4 AC until the foe doing the most damage is dead, or flees, or the mounts are dead. Mounts will automatically trample/overrun any friend/foe in between them and the source of their fury.
Blackmoor grew from a single Castle to include, first, several adjacent Castles (with the forces of Evil lying just off the edge of the world to an entire Northern Province of the Castle and Crusade Society's Great Kingdom.

Awesome! Can I repost this?

Regarding the character sheet, check with Brendan, I believe there's a downloadable version on the website, but I might be wrong (if not, there should be!).

In answer to your question about names, I was going for "north indian", and off the top of my head.

Your houserule is very interesting, by the way; though I would make the consequences of morale failure work through "degrees of failure" (that is, by how many points they failed their check) as per the standard AoI morale rules, rather than a random result after the fact.
