This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

SpyCraft is an excellent book, and their pocket guide series is one of the best books I've ever picked up for D20.

On to other things. I think the quality of WW's books far outshines those of WotC (except the Exalted line, it's better than it was, but most of the artwork sucks, and the writing is very inconsistent) and they put out better D&D books then Wizards ever did (thanks to the Mahovoc imprint and Monte Cook).

And, directed straight at Pundy. White-Wolf is proof that you can have both quality and deliver the most quantity. I would say 90% of their releases are worth the money.

I do miss the Hey Day of SJGames. Back when Gurps was getting a shitload of supplements printed every month, Car-Wars had its own international league, Illuminati was actually a CCG (and still one of the best ones ever made) and they were able to put out other games all at the same time.

They also need to get Steve himself out of the Spotlight. He makes great, intricate games, but he's kind of a dick. Not the really the face any company wants to have.

Mongoose doesn't have anything to do with the production of Spycraft -- the corebook was developed under the auspices of AEG and is now licensed by Crafty Games (the individuals who wrote the book for AEG), and Mongoose is simply a front for getting books in print.  Which, come to think of it, hasn't actually happened yet...
