This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Alright. I'm going to play a game soon with some friends, but we'll have basically just a few hours, and no second session.

I'm going to run some Swords & Wizardry, and would like to know which published module, if any, you would recommend. D&D, AD&D, C&C, this or that version of the game... doesn't matter.

Any suggestion coming to mind?

Would it be gauche of me to recommend my own OD&D dungeon?

Just six levels of screwing around, looking for loot and killing dudes.

Keep on the Borderlands was always my favorite one.

I assume that you're using pre-gens?  If so, they can be above level 1?

If so, then I recommend Mythmere's "Spire of Iron and Crystal"!

Is it long enough for a few hours but short enough for a single session?

That's a great suggestion, but I don't think a few hours and a single session would really do it justice.

I think so (I have yet to play it myself).  I believe that it was designed originally for tournament play.

Doesn't S&W have a quickstart? I recall it having a 19-20 room dungeon. Try using that.

I've considered it. Just trying to get a sense of what material people would think about, look around, and make an informed choice (or build my own once this is all done).
