This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Dude, I got those at GenCon, they are freaking awesome!

I just recently purchased some more PDFs:

Animal Archives Raptor Pack I, and Monstrous Compendium Annual - Volume II ( for 2nd ed. D&D).

I'm a big fan of the Animal Archives series, even though there are only two of them so far, and I wanted the 2nd ed. D&D stats for dinosaurs.

Pre painted Reaper Skeletons. All the store had to offer.

They basically cost me some peanuts and marbles, as the $ to € ratio is very supportive at the moment.

EDIT: This also was a great example of free market at work. I entered the store with the inclination to buy a D&D Minis booster, because the Gelatinous Cube MUST BE MINE.

Instead I bought a Battalion of those Skeletal Guys for the same money.

Went on eBay and nabbed myself the Fading Suns Companion and Byzantium Secundus, also for Fading Suns. I friggin' love the setting (I only recently discovered it), so I added three or four other books for the game to my Xmass list. Byzantium Secundus arrived today. I can't wait to go get my hands on it.

Playing: Nothing.
Running: D&D 5e
Planning: Nothing.

Well, Green Ronin finally put out a 3.5 version of their Plot & Poison book (my favorite takes on dark elvish - fiendish and non-drizzt-y) in the form of Advanced Race Codex: Drow. Another serving of rations in my post-4pocalypse bunker.
The Secret Volcano Base: my intermittently updated RPG blog.

Running: Pathfinder Scarred Lands, Mutants & Masterminds, Masks, Starfinder, Bulldogs!
Playing: Sigh. Nothing.
Planning: Some Cyberpunk thing, system TBD.

Hollow Earth Expedition- nice ideas, but not psyched about it (from the look of it I expected a two-fisted pulp game and got a gritty survival-game, where it is very easy for you to bite the dust- also the published demo adventures are railroading nightmares). Mechanically its a halfway decent system, but it doesn't do anything Savage Worlds doesn't for me.

Savage Worlds- Explorers Edition- even though I already own the core book, for $9.99 you can't go wrong.

Reign (Solis Hardcover)- Beautiful, just beautiful. Can't wait to run that.

Solomon Kane- Another really nice book. ;) (hopefully I will find time to read it throughly soon, but what I gleaned from other people and from thumbing through it sounds really sweet)
Why do they call them "Random encounter tables" when there's nothing random about them? It's just the same stupid monsters over and over. You want random? Fine, make it really random. A hampstersaurus. A mucus salesman. A toenail golem. A troupe of fornicating clowns. David Hasselhoff. If your players don't start crying the moment you pick up the percent die, you're just babying them.

Reign. Interesting book, at the very least the company rules look like something I can rip off.

If only Agone had a better translation. If only they'd translated more of the game into English. If only the company producing it hadn't gone under...Basically, just a lotta "If only's."

Not new, except Insidiae, but new to me.

Ordered Ancient Kingdoms: Mesopotamia, based on discussions of the sword and sorcery content here.  I should have it tomorrow (ordered from Amazon after checking The Compleat Strategist in NYC and finding out that they didn't have a copy).  I also recently got the ancient Green Ronin books as part of their big sale (Testament, Trojan War, Egyptian Adventures Hamunaptra, and Eternal Rome as well as the Thieves' World Gazetteer, The Freeport Trilogy, Denizens of Freeport, and 4 of their "Bleeding Edge Adventure"s).

Does pledging 10$ for the latest Reign supplement count?

If not, I think it may have been the first edition of Aquelarre in Catalan I picked up in ebay a few months ago. Bit of an eccentricity, since I don't really speak Catalan, but hey, it was cheap.
