This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What's The Last RPG-Related Purchase You've Made?

I grabbed a cheap copy of Sigmar's Heirs for WFRP off of ebay a few days ago, haven't had a chance to do more than flick through it yet though.

Cab

Big box of random out of print RPG stuff bougth on ebay. Some gems in there, some drivel too.

droog

Secondhand copies of Dogs in the Vineyard and Hero's Banner, for a really good price, from someone on the RPGSite.

Before that, I think it might have been some dice.
The past lives on in your front room
The poor still weak the rich still rule
History lives in the books at home
The books at home

Gang of Four

Ronin

Vive la mort, vive la guerre, vive le sacré mercenaire

Ronin\'s Fortress, my blog of RPG\'s, and stuff

Danger

Shadowrun 4th ed.

Why?  'Cause I luves me some cyberpunk, and I haven't dallied with the thing since 1st edition.
I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.

Caesar Slaad

That would have been GenCon where I picked up:

City of Brass by Necromancer Games
Hollow Earth Expedition by Exile Studios
The four Spycraft 1.0 books I didn't own yet, dirt cheap at the Titan booth.
Some magnetic counter bases by Alea Games
A set of Fudge dice to play fate with.

And that's about it. It was a light GenCon for me.
The Secret Volcano Base: my intermittently updated RPG blog.

Running: Pathfinder Scarred Lands, Mutants & Masterminds, Masks, Starfinder, Bulldogs!
Playing: Sigh. Nothing.
Planning: Some Cyberpunk thing, system TBD.

Most of my GenCon purchases were comic books actually, but I did go out and get After the Bomb since Palladium no longer prints the old TMNT book (mine has gone missing long ago).  Also nabbed a copy of Mutants Down Under.  I love that fucking cover.  That is one hard deck fucking Koala.

I am a little over excited about the purchase since TMNT/After the Bomb was my introduction to RPGs back in the day and I always wanted to nix the Palladium rules and tack on something else to Wujik's Bio-E stuff.

After the Bomb (new edition)
A Conspiracy of Shadows comic

Nebuleon Hardcover
Roma Imperious Hardcover
Atlas of Gaea Circuses and Carnivals
Shades of Earth Austrian Holiday
Back in the Corps Again for Nebuleon
Tons of 20 sided dice (for Blood Games II)
Tons of percentile dice (for StarCluster System Games)
250 each red and blue plastic markers (for Aces In Spades energy)

I bought the new edition of ATB even though I still have my TMNT version. It just rocks the house. :D

Yeah I was flipping through ATB last night.  My only lament is that they didn't preserver more of the art from TMNT.  I am guessing it has to do with the licensing issue, but damn do I miss the Laird and Eastman shit.

Agreed 100%! The Eastman and Laird art was superb, and there's too little of it left. I still love that opossum, though! :D

No purchases, as of yet, but I did get two games as gifts. Both were rather odd choices:

Artesia - I just skimmed through it. A lot of work obviously went into it. I will probably never play it.

L5R - it's interesting. I have yet to get into the guts of the thing but I might be able to do something with it.
Timeless Games/Better Mousetrap Games - The Creep Chronicle, The Fifth Wheel - the book of West Marque, Shebang. Just released: The Boomtown Planet - Saturday Edition. Also available in hard copy.

Hackmaster

Savage Worlds Explorers Edition, and before that -
Star Wars Saga Edition

I've recently picked up a few PDF products, including 50 Fathoms and Inspectres. While a well-bookmarked PDF is great for reference, I really have a hard time getting into them. I can't sit down and read or browse a PDF in any sort of enjoyable manner. With the print version, even if I never run the game, I can often spend a little time just flipping through pages and reading bits here and there.

The artwork was the best part -- I loved the Kangaroo with a Joey in it's pouch holding an SMG. :D

Quote from: ReimdallFour pewter d10s from the GameScience booth at GenCon.

Sooo weighty in my hands, like little player-killing dwarf-stars.

:D

Ah, you did get them!

I love the GameScience booth.  Col. Lou is fun to talk to, and my players FEAR my pewter pecentiles. :D
