Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What is the best (and neutral) source for rpg news?

For things like upcoming releases, gossip and rumors, some content, etc... Just so not to stay out of the loop.

I had bookmarked Enworld (rpgnews dot com), but things are getting a bit one-sided there. As in ass jay double-you sided. Hot example is Luke Crane's inclusion of Adam Koebel for some new rpg kickstarter and the following resignation of Crane as head of something-something at Kickstarter because of a lynch mob that still gets pissy about the oopsie Koebel did llike an year ago. And, of course, there is the mandatory apology. And after everyone is cancelled once again, the whole enworld clapped.

But I digress. What I mean is that like some people who can't separate the author from their work, I can't separate the article from the comment section and would prefer to just get the news (nowadays the media is opinionated enough anyway).

Anyone got any links or feeds? How do you find about current rpg events?

I would not exactly say Tenkar is neutral. I stopped visiting some time ago because they were very not neutral and have likely only gotten worse since.

Would you share some that are notable?

I know this group for info on new kickstarters but its facebook, so.. your mileage may vary.

Personally i just scroll and fixate on the projects i find while browsing kickstarter itself.

For rpg news, hmm. I use multiple sources, some quite biased, i just ignore the more in ones face with this worldview parts. Its like watching commercials selectivly, one filters the stuff that is obviously meant to subvert, reinforce or provoke. It hasnt worked each time ofc, i have shitposted in the past:)

I'm not at all sure that this is the kind of resource you are looking for, but my local game store sometimes gets issues of GM Magazine. It has no opinions, but just lists of products with some pictures. Covers RPGs, board games, some miniatures games, and stuff like that. Once I know that something exists, I can scurry over to the internet and search on the thing.

I think the DriveThru notifications (follow favourites) function is very good for news on new releases. By genre, type or publisher/system.

Here?

Dude, you have got to admit that we're kinda biased.

I think that it is in a good way, but still biased.
"Meh."

I was thinking more in line of an aggregate source or something. If you can point me to a page that shows the today's news at a glance, I may consider it.

Sure as hell is not BGG. They make sure any game, and now RPG that they disapprove of conveniently stays out of the limelight. They block games from showing on hotness and have pulled some other stunts as well behind the curtain. Grease their palms though and you can get away with all sorts of underhanded stunts especially in the RPG section. That and theres a high storygamer population over there that try to redefine what an RPG is to admin who have no idea what an RPG is and dont care because they do not even consider RPGs to be games. And so elect staff whos idea of RPG is pretty much "everything on earth". Their RPG database is an absolute mess.

Yeah, I've had the same thoughts about BGG.
