SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Personally, I'm waiting for the first annual PunditCon.

The drive to Uruguay would be really tough.

Guys please stick the topic to RPGs, the con, and you can talk about Covid in the context of gaming conventions but as soon as you step off from that it is not acceptable. People who insist on posting off-topic about Covid will be banned.

The funny part is that with this particular kind of disease if there is going to be proper "social distancing" it has to be at the very least twenty feet, not six.

It's never going to stop. Too many pathetic nobodies suddenly given power over our lives will never let go. This is all the new "normal."

There used to be a nice place not far from where I live that had gaming sessions every month. It is gone. Pretty soon you'll either have to game online or in secret. RPGPundit, soon there may not be any such conventions to discuss at all, at least not here in America. Of course "peaceful protests" can just go right on ahead...
I'm 55. My profile won't record this. It's only right younger members know how old I am.

Heh heh.  One can google "Darien Gap" to shed some light on this if not familiar with the details.

On the bright side, all the worthy attendees could fit comfortably in Pundit's living room. No need to rent a venue!

I did security for the Garth Brooks concert at Memorial Stadium on August 14th.  90,000 drunken idiots.  No one was wearing a mask.  Cases have gone up as a result of this and probably a few other factors.  I've tested negative twice since then.  However, there are a ton of people walking around coughing and not wearing a mask.  I'm not going to any event after this, if all possible; especially something indoors like a Con.
