Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Here are the benefits by level.  All of them are retroactive, except for the bonus exalted feats, which you gain every even-numbered level (since I've said that, I won't include them in the list of benefits below):

1st: +4 exalted AC bonus
3rd: +5 exalted AC bonus; immune to temperatures between -50 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit
4th: All weapons wielded are treated as +1
5th: Don't need to eat or drink
6th: +6 exalted AC bonus; +1 deflection AC bonus
7th: +1 resistance bonus to saving throws; ability score enhancement +2
8th: Natural armor +1; immune to detect thoughts, discern lies, and any attempt to discern alignment
9th: +7 exalted AC bonus
10th: All weapons wielded are treated as +2 and good-aligned; DR 5/magic
11th: Ability score enhancement improves to +4, and another ability gains a +2 enhancement
12th: +8 exalted AC bonus; +2 deflection AC bonus; don't need to breathe
13th: +2 resistance bonus to saving throws; energy resistance 5 to all types
14th: All weapons wielded are treated as +3; continual freedom of movement
15th: +9 exalted AC bonus; first ability enhancement improves to +6, second improves to +4, and a third ability gains a +2 enhancement; DR 5/evil
16th: Natural armor +2
17th: All weapons wielded are treated as +4; +3 resistance bonus to saving throws; regeneration of [level] damage per hour
18th: +10 exalted AC bonus; +3 deflection AC bonus; continual true seeing
19th: First ability score enhancement improves to +8, second improves to +6, third improves to +4, and a fourth ability gains a +2 enhancement; DR 10/evil
20th: All weapons wielded are treated as +5; energy resistance 15 to all types

I thought this was...pretty bad. Phindar pointed out (and I agreed) that it kind of defeats the point and purpose if there's a massive (and player-known) mechanical advantage to "poverty". You're not really "giving up" anything or living in any kind of deprivation, not making any real sacrifice if you know ahead of time that you're going to be overwhelmingly compensated for it. That's just a trade off, and has little to do with roleplaying or virtue.

On top of that, they went way over the top on the rewards.
In my game, Monks (and any other PC who wants to take Vow of Poverty voluntarily) get to retain 1% of their share of the party treasure and a magic item of their choice (4 potions count as 1 item) and donate the remainder to a (non-PC) charity, usually their home church or monastery.

In return, they can add their Wis modifier to their AC. The Exalted, Deflection, and Natural Armor bonuses are right out.

They get Endure Heat/Cold, and the Endurance feat.

Their weapon bonuses only apply against DR.

They always need to eat, drink, and breathe. The deities granting these Exalted gifts never intended for them to be cut off from their humanity.

They get the Resistance bonus to saving throws.

They get a CHANCE (not automatic) at Ability Score enhancement- if they roll over their current score on 1D20, it improves 1 point.

They don't get immunity to Detect Thoughts, Discern Lies/Alignment.

They gain no Damage Reduction.

They don't gain True Seeing.

Freedom of Movement, Energy Resistance, Regeneration would depend on their roleplaying of their aligment up to that point.

Now, there would be massive in-game roleplaying rewards (bonuses to Reputation, interaction with Good, esp. Lawful Good NPCs) but those wouldn't be found on any chart.
