This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

allows Dame Judi Dench to run the game as DM! She's now GMIng for her grand kids at home. How cool is that??!!!

From a recent Interview during the filming of Riddick;

His lack of GMing (or playing) is obviously only temporary...

This is so fucking awesome it doesn't even need to be true. But apparently it is.

Imagine Dame Judi Fucking Dench as your DM.

No, no, this is all wrong. Everyone knows RPGers are introverted fatbeards mouldering away in their parents' basement somewhere. It's impossible that an international sex icon and action hero could ever be an RPGer.

Impossible I say!

She could be Alec Guinness for all I'd care, if she'd railroad me at all times I'd still leave ;).
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don\'t Like You thread should be closed

Screw Dungeon Mastering, I want her to run James Bond 007.
D&D is becoming Self-Referential.  It is no longer Setting Referential, where it takes references outside of itself. It is becoming like Ouroboros in its self-gleaning for tropes, no longer attached, let alone needing outside context.

HHHrrrm???? Yes, she shares with you (and plenty of other folks as well!) her enjoyment of profanity for profanities sake!

Dame Dench's diary:

March 13: Wrapped filming in France. 11 fucks given.

I know! I mean international sex icon Dame Judi Dench AND action hero Vin Diesel at the same table?

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

My bad; the site I found the photo on was mistaken.

I'm not sure if that's more or less awesome.

Serio.

Denys Mordred / Ian Noble was the GM of that Firefly session. He's posted here a few times. You can PM him here or on RPGnet for more details on that GenCon game. I forget which name he uses on which forum.

Nathan taught the players a bunch of Chinese curse words, but damn imagine the pressure on the gamer playing Captain Mal.
