This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. I was tempted to put this in the "news and adverts" section, but I expect (perhaps wrongly) a fair amount of discussion on this thread. 

I know the direction I want to go - exclusively old school, OSR, and traditional RPGs with some workshops thrown in for good measure - but am still flexible and open to suggestions.  I do have some convention organizing experience and tons of RPG and RPG con experience, so not exactly a noob.

This should be fairly polarizing since I'm going in the opposite direction of most gaming conventions these days.  If you can make it to Wisconsin next July, I'd love to have you!

While I don't live in Wisconsin, and my chances of making it out there are less then zero...

Mad respect to Venger for stepping up and Fucking doing something about the convergent cons.

I hope that you are successful enough that Venger-con becomes a ongoing middle finger year after year to the woke-cons, and you start to peel audience away from them.

I wouldn't be able to make it*, but I hope it's a big success for you! There needs to be rational alternative for the folks who just want to get together and game without all the bullshit.


*I'd be up for some virtual workshops/panels if they became a reality.
