SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I'm packing the family into the minivan and am on my way to Indianapolis!  I hope everyone here who goes to Gen Con will take the time to drop by the ENnies booth (#1303) to say hi.  We'll be handing out packages of custom dice (2d6, one that says "ENnies", one from YourGamesNow.com) to the first 150 visitors to the booth each day and at the ceremony Friday night.

On the subject of the ceremony, you can still score yourself a seat sitting up front with the publishers- most of the auctions end today, although there are some ending Monday morning.  http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZennie-awards is the list of all that's available.  As I type this, the cheapest seat is going for only $22.50!  There's only 320 seats available, and last year was standing room only, so if you don't win one of these auctions and aren't a "VIG", then I suggest you get there as soon as the doors open at 9pm!

Finally, today is the last day for voting for the five judges for the 2008 panel.  If you haven't done so already, drop by http://www.ennieawards.com/judgenominees.html to learn about the candidates, then cast your vote!

See you in Indy!

Oh yeah, I forgot:
There will be a Silent Auction happening with some really interesting items, such as an illuminated, medieval goatskin scroll, and this gem from Malhavoc Press, the Ptolus whitebook (http://www.montecook.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi?Ptolus_whitebook), so bring some cash!
