SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

RPGPundit

Hi all,

I just thought I'd let you know how theRPGsite has been doing these past three weeks, since the last time I posted an update.

First of all, a recap: in the first three weeks that I had reviewed, we'd gained:
333 new threads
7458 new posts
50 new members

For an average of 15 threads per day.

Now, in these last three weeks we've gained:
289 new threads
6163 new posts
37 new members

For an average of 14 threads per day.

So as you see, there's been a slight dip in the volume of the site; even though on the whole we continue to gain.  I think this is pretty well understandable given that in the first three weeks we had a whole burst of enthusiasm due to the novelty of the site.  On the whole, we are maintaining our momentum, and I take these figures to be positive.

That doesn't mean we can't do better.
I would strongly encourage everyone reading this to be active in posting new threads, or participating in existing threads; the more input we get, the more this site is worth!

Likewise, I'd hope that each of you keeps advertising this site however you feel best to; by talking letting people who participate on other fora know about it, by letting your friends know about it, by encouraging new people to join.  The more people we get, the better the site becomes!

Hopefully, three weeks from now I'll be able to tell you all that we're continuing to grow the way we have been for these last six weeks!
