The Dictator: The player who must control the group and the other players. Makes every other player follow his plan, ask him permission to do anything, etc. Ruins the game and kills characters of players who won't kiss his ass.

The hypocrite: Throws a fit when things don;t go his way, then when other people get pissed at him for the way he acts criticizes them for taking the game too seriously.

The best way IMO do encourage them to push their boundaries out a bit is not to try to restrain their violent tendencies but give them gravity.  Give them several people whose asses need a good kicking, but doing so to any one will have consequences and reprecussions.  And all the townsfolk are looking to the asskickers to fix everything for them.
