This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Would like a library tile, preferably free.

I'm planning a scenario that will use room map tiles, and I'm getting a ship map that should do for most of the setting.

One thing I'd like would be a tile of an arcane/occult/gothic library room, since an important part of the game is finding this gothic tome in a room called 'the library".

Does anyone know where I could get a free room tile that looks like this, preferably with a central display case or something similar?
Go an\' tell me I\'m ignored.
Kick my sad ass off the board,
I don\'t care, I\'m still free.
You can\'t take the net from me.

Thanks, SB. I'd already hit most of those links searching with another engine, but I appreciate the effort at helping me.

Yeah, the lmgtfy thing was just me messing with you, I figured you already Googled most of it.  :)

Sometimes a turn of phrase or different ordering to search terms sends Google off in all kinds of new directions.  Sorry it hit the same ones you already found.

You could always use a scan of a Clue gameboard.

Would a .png file work? I'm a fair hand with Campaign Cartographer and the like.

It's helpful night for me, apparently. Try these guys:

Damn, I need to start looking around over there again.  With all the other stuff going on, I have been neglecting my map making duties.

A contest, perhaps?  See what kind of artistry we can wring out of the membership here?

Works for me. A simple library chamber? All we need are dimensions.

The current assignment would appear to be a tile, likely 1" square, but a number of them appropriate to making a whole library would be more challenging.

Well, here's a link to a sample of the ship map I'm using: http://ki-ryn.com/Future_Armada/13.MisFortune_Demo.pdf

The idea is that one of the cargo pods was converted to a "library". The pods are 7x3 rectangles with an entry at a short end and the gist would be they were filled with rare, exotic books and the pod would be transferred from owner to owner as it had basically be made into a library and had been warded against the powers of the books within.

The main mcguffin in this adventure is an ancient, pre-collapse tome reputed to contain terrible powers and is displayed on a pedestal in the center of the library, with the rest of the books being reference material related to it and it's times.
