This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Is Starblazers Actually OUT?! U.K. only? WTF?

So I've heard that Starblazers is apparently actually out in some places (possibly only the U.K.).  However, no one I know has gotten their pre-orders (which were supposed to be received like "two weeks to a month" before the books hit the shelves), and I certainly haven't heard anything from the C7 people.

What the hell is going on?
And has anyone actually seen a copy of Starblazers on the shelves?

GRIM

As far as I can make out what seems to have happened is that the office copies got delayed while the distro copies did go out, then, even though it's not meant to be out yet, started selling them.

It wouldn't be the first time this has happened with one company or the other.
