Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I go all out. I'm planning (we'll see if it pans out) a fantasy campaign called "Song of Swords" using the D6 Star Wars rules. I've created some character sheets that my players can download here. Character creation rules and a short setting primer are on the way (also in PDF format). And I also have wiki support.

Regularly I come across the same problem, we're playing for around 3 or 4 hours and then someone jumps and ask "What's the title of the campaing?" and it's then that I realized that I haven't thought about one yet, so I quickly think: setting + plot + GM creativity = cool campaing game.
Another thing I tend to do a lot is to structure my campaings in parts, and then name every part separately, like chapters in a book.

Lawbag

I give my own campaigns names, which usually develop during or after the campaign is over.

With Serenity I get the players to vote on the name of the Episode for a bonus Plot Dice.
"See you on the Other Side"

Playing: Nothing
Running: Nothing
Planning: pathfinder amongst other things

Playing every Sunday in Bexleyheath, Kent, UK 6pm til late...

Blackthorne

the Year of Hell (playtest of the 3rd Edition rules when we finally converted over from 2nd edition)

Reign of Fire (named after the movie. Tiamat returns to my homeworld)
Stormpeace! (blue dragons & hobgoblins vs. copper & brass dragons outside Las Vegas)
The Frozen Year (the white dragons awaken)
Black Aegis (the black dragons awaken)
The Labyrinth of Madness (the only module we completed this year)
RESURGENCE (I continue the campaign with a brand new gaming group, only inviting a single player from the ashes of the group that crashed and burned in 2009)

Coming soon: Dead & Down (6 paladins with dragon-hating holy swords go after undead dragons)
The Poison Land (green dragons awaken)

Since each campaign was supposed to take an entire year, I may go back and revisit each of them, since no group lasted the whole year.
