Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Through The Breach...thoughts?

Anyone played or ran Wyrd's "Through the Breach" rpg? I like the art and the setting of Malifaux, but haven't heard much about it.

I have the system.  It's imo quite "storygamey".  You can, fairly easily, make it into a more 'traditional' style.

By all means move this thread to the proper forum, mods!

Is there a "Cesspool of Storygaming" forum? ;)

Hmmm...

Its funny how the term, and concept, 'storygame' is spoken at this forum with such contempt. Ive read conversations elsewhere where the notion of "wargame RPGing" is equally distasteful. Guess it depends on the crowd your in.

Yes. It's a product of the formative culture of a given forum. In this case, theRPGsite was formed in a period where Storygamers were going out of their way to take over other forums and impose their agenda on gaming culture as a whole.

You would consider it a storygame.

They don't give reviewers review copies, so I haven't gotten it yet. Looks somewhat interesting.
