Title: Thoughts on DriveThruRPG's new design?
Post by: mudbanks on December 22, 2021, 09:21:59 PM
I probably will get used to the new layout at some point but right now it feels like a jumbled mess. There's too much unnecessary white space in buttons, some sections are unnecessarily large when they only contain trivial information, and the reading area isn't centralised. I can't even stand to look at the new product pages for more than a few minutes ugh >:(

In 2 years, you'll be used to this format and complain when they change it again

Drivthru has always been a mess... They are still stuck in the early 2000s.

Yeah, not great.  Information overload and takes too long to load in fully.

Still looks the same to me. Maybe when the server I'm stored on gets migrated to the newer webapp.

There are professions called UI artist and UX designer (user experience). But they cost money to hire. It's like saying the carpenter is too expensive I'll just build the cabinets myself.

You get what you pay for.

Same.

And I'm fine with the clunky old (or new) interface, if it means lower prices.

They brought back the old design. Thank god.
