So I'm over at the Zhodani Base, trying to glean a few good ideas for a new Traveller game and come across this little gem, Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning.

Evidently, It Star Trek meets Babylon-Five meets (Really!) uhhh... each other. It's all in Finnish with English subtitles, still there's some great special effects, real twisty humor, a good soundtrack, and well... subtitles.

Now they are working on a new film, Iron Sky.... This is a story about when the Space Nazis attack from the Moon in 2018... I kid you not... The preview trailer for this is available here:

Enough said.
Blackmoor grew from a single Castle to include, first, several adjacent Castles (with the forces of Evil lying just off the edge of the world to an entire Northern Province of the Castle and Crusade Society's Great Kingdom.

I downloaded that movie legally and laughed quite a bit.

The real star of the show is the computer graphics, which were done on Linux.

I love Linux.  And I love cheesy movies that use Linux to good effect.

I think the entire budget for the film was 10 Euros in donations.
"By their way of thinking, gold and experience goes[sic] much further when divided by one. Such shortsighted individuals are quick to stab their fellow players in the back if they think it puts them ahead. They see the game solely as a contest between themselves and their fellow players.  How sad.  Clearly the game is a contest between the players and the GM.  Any contest against your fellow party members is secondary."
