I have space marines.  Tons of them.  Roleplaying one would be boring.  If you don't know why you aren't a 40k gamer.

Like my homie Yorkus said on another forum:

Player1: Fine. "Brother Marine Galvus, do you know what I really enjoy?"

Player1: "Serving in the name of the Emperor."
All: Can we start fighting some Eldar now?

The PCs may be a bit low-powered by genre standards, but not 40K standards. It's more Alien than Lord of the Rings- a Greater Daemon is an awesome force, a significant fraction of a Dark God's power, and it's a great achievement even for a Grey Knight Grand Master to slay one single-handed- so what hope does a mere human have?
