I have a few tables inspired by the old Armory tables, but mostly I keep a few handy for the oddball games that use them, or for their easy divisibility, or to add orders of magnitude to crit tables.

I will add that mine are numbered 0-9 three times, with a - set, an unmodified set, and a + set, which I think makes them more readily useful. I haven't seen any like that in the store for a while.

Yeah, I've got a bunch, however I mostly use them for real life adventure, rather than RPGs.

Are there any good systems making use of the d30? Strikes me that the 3.33% chance of a natural 1 or 30 could be a sweet spot for criticals, neither too frequent nor too infrequent.

How different would a version of D20 look with a D30?  Like, would you suck worse at lower levels and take longer to be awesome at higher levels? Would combat have a different feel?

Well, there'd definitely be less of a chance for crits and fumbles, right?  Assuming everything stayed the same, you'd have 1:30 chance of a fumble, and likely either a 1:15 or 1:30 chance of a crit.  It would make them a bit more rare, in any case.

As someone mentioned before the charts from the Armory.  We've used those before and for the oddball occasion.  Our group played around with a homebrew using a D30 as the main die but nothing came of it.

Still we all seem to have a couple of these in our dice collections.

I have one d30 in my dice tray. It is excellent for traps that have a wide degree of lethality potential, or for chucking at players that continuously quote Monty Python bits all night.

I used mine to lay siege to the DM's screen fortress.  Our DM used several screens together to form a mighty barrier to PC incursions and spy attempts.
